One key challenge of the system was ensuring reliable wireless communication across complex, obstacle-heavy environments — including underground levels, thick concrete walls, and metallic structures — without relying on existing site infrastructure. Overcoming this required designing a self-contained, ultra-resilient mesh network that could maintain signal coverage across all 22km of corridors during an emergency.
